• SYNOPSIS Alex Txikon, an internationally renowned mountaineer, embarks on a new winter expedition to Manaslu (Nepal) in 2021. It is the first non-polluting climb, powered by solar panels. This sustainable system, which makes it possible to reduce your energy footprint in line with the Paris Agreement, leads to solidarity work with the EKI Foundation. Alex learns about the work carried out by the Foundation in Sierra Leone, where they provide solar energy systems that enable energy autonomy at schools and hospitals. Txikon suggests that they replicate the idea at a very special school in Diamer Valley in Pakistan, the Günter Mountain School, uniting two different but at the same time equal cultures.
