Navarra Film
Navarra Film Commission is the film office created by the Government of Navarra in 2009 as a means of assisting companies and professionals from the audiovisual sector who wish to film in our region.
As part of the government-owned company NICDO, it is responsible for providing information and fostering agreements and other initiatives aimed at consolidating and facilitating film shoots – acting as a link between the Government of Navarra, public administrations, private individuals and the audiovisual industry.
To this end, it offers information, advice and processing services free of charge to producers, agencies and audiovisual companies to assist them in their decision-making regarding filming, recording or photography and to ensure that the interested parties to optimise their resources, both human, material and financial.
In order to facilitate the work of producers, it offers the following services:
LOCATION SCOUTING
Advice on shooting locations that best suit the interests and needs of each project. In addition, we offer a catalogue of pictures of locations that make it easier to find the most suitable locations for each project. We can also offer contact with professionals and companies specialising in locations.
PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS ASSISTANCE
We can fully coordinate the specific needs of production companies who are filming in the territory and wish optimise their stay in Navarra. From finding accommodation for the technical and artistic team, to contracting catering services, from companies for extras, production services, drones to sound studios and more.
COORDINATION WITH INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANISATIONS OF INTEREST
We are in direct contact with institutions, local bodies and organisations of interest in order to meet the needs of any audiovisual project in its various phases with efficiency and professionalism, all close at hand. We work continuously with these organisations to constantly improve the processes necessary for film production.
MANAGEMENT AND ADVICE FOR OBTAINING FILMING PERMITS
We can provide the necessary information, contacts and arrange meetings to obtain the filming permits relevant to each location. At the same time, the office collaborates with the various departments (environment, health, safety, public works, sports…) to address each projects’ specific needs.

INFORMATION ON FINANCING AUDIOVISUAL PROJECTS
We can offer advice to all projects wishing to shoot in the territory – from a music video to international series. We can also assist in accessing the audiovisual ecosystem by seeking the best financing options, the necessary contacts for both the application of tax incentives for audiovisual projects and financing from the Government of Navarra, contacts for sponsorship or co-productions with the region’s sector.
PROMOTION OF NAVARRA IN SPECIALISED MARKETS
We participate in national and international festivals as well as markets to promote the region and attract projects and filming to Navarra. We also work together with the Spain Film Commission Association to join forces in selling and promoting what the territory has to offer.
