Álvaro González García de Burgos

He holds a diploma in Film Directing from ECAM (School of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts of the Community of Madrid), where his mentors were Ana Díez, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, and Gracia Querejeta, and his instructors in directing actors were Mariano Barroso and Jaime Chávarri.

For nearly twenty years, he has worked as a director in advertising, TV series, and TV programs. He is an associate professor in the School of Communication at the University of Navarra in the Audiovisual Communication undergraduate program, where he teaches courses in directing, screenwriting, film and TV production, and acting and performance; he also serves as the coordinator for undergraduate thesis projects.

He has directed three short films: “EL CINÉFILO” (ECAM, 2000), “CASA FOUCE” (ECAM, 2002), and “TITAN” (Usual Films, 2015 / 140 international film festivals – 22 awards).
