The ZINETIKA Festival arrives in Pamplona with two masterclasses, a performance, a workshop and film sessions

After San Sebastian and Bilbao, the 5th ZINETIKA Festival reaches Pamplona (Baluarte) tomorrow, Friday October 30th, with two masterclasses, a performance, a workshop and film showings.

Tomorrow, Friday at 4 p.m., sees the masterclass entitled «Filming emotions on another level» led by the film maker Jaco Van Dormael and the choreographer Michele Anne De Mey. At 5:30 p.m. we have the showing of the documentary describing the activities of the DNA programme promoted by the Department of Culture of the Government of Navarre. The day concludes with further ZINETIKA showings at 6:30 p.m.

The first session of the workshop entitled “Challenges for inclusion in dance” takes place at 10 p.m. on Saturday 31st, where the choreographer Becky Siegel talks to dance professionals to explain the guidelines for adapting teaching methods, while exploring the wealth of diversity present in creative processes.

Reasons beyond the control of the festival organisation have led to the cancellation of the performance of “A mano” by the El Patio Teatro company from La Rioja that was originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The 5th ZINETIKA Festival comes to an end on Sunday, November 1st. The second session of the workshop “Challenges for inclusion in dance”. At 5 p.m. we have the masterclass and a showing of “Bizimina”. Finally, the Ziomara Hormaetxe Company presents “Biopiracy”, a performance dealing with both the most disturbing and the most hopeful possibilities of technology at 7 p.m.
