- SYNOPSIS Today, Sabela finds a forgotten cassette tape that belonged to her grandfather: “Enemigo Invisible,” recorded in 1982 by a band—Cables Cruzados—that never got to perform it in public. When she brings it to the Estaciones Sonoras festival in Cascante, she discovers that two other young bands also claim it as their own. Following the thread of the song, the three groups uncover a story from forty years ago: the first Zaragoza Rock Contest, where their families first crossed paths—a friendship and a love torn apart by politics, a father who was a Civil Guard, and a Basque border that drove more than one person into exile in France. *Cables Cruzados* intertwines two eras that communicate only through music and explores what is unintentionally inherited—fear, talent, rage—and the need to take the stage to say aloud what was never said at home. A Spanish-French co-production filmed in Zaragoza and Iparralde.
