Through the eyes of veteran seafarers, a lookout, a local guide, and a cetacean scientist, the film weaves together whaling memories, historical archives, and contemporary marine life. Between an extractive past and a present marked by new ways of coexisting with the ocean, the film observes a real, complex, and deeply human transition.
