- SYNOPSIS For centuries, whaling was a tradition along the Basque coast and in the Azores islands, with right whales being the protagonists of this activity. Although these species face serious threats, in places like the Azores hunting has given way to responsible whale watching. Through Norberto's experience, we explore the unique biodiversity of Azorean waters, the social bonds of sperm whales and the sustainable practices that can inspire other communities. This trip reminds us that, with coordinated efforts, there is still time to preserve these wonderful creatures for future generations.
