• SYNOPSIS As the last salt caravan of the Sahara faces extinction, Abdu, a former Amazigh caravan leader, and photographer and explorer Juan Antonio Muñoz set out on a final journey into the Mauritanian desert. Accompanied by two inseparable companions, they travel along ancient routes threatened by modernity, carrying on a tradition that for centuries has connected cultures and territories. Between adventure and contemplation, Amersal becomes a reflection on memory, friendship, and the disappearance of a world that is holding on to its final moments.
