Urdax Monastery

The Monastery of Urdax is one of the most important historical complexes in northern Navarra. Located in the town of Urdax near the French border, the building dates back to the Middle Ages and served for centuries as an important religious and cultural center of the valley. The complex features sober monastic architecture built mainly in stone, with different rooms organized around the cloister. Inside, spaces such as the church and former monastic rooms stand out. Surrounded by the green landscape typical of the area, the monastery is an essential part of the town’s historical heritage.
