Nuestra Señora de Muskilda Hermitage

The hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Muskilda stands on a hill overlooking the town of Ochagavía. The current building has medieval origins and is surrounded by a small walled enclosure that also includes the hermit’s house. Its architecture is simple, mainly built in stone, with a distinctive square tower. From this elevated position there are wide views of the valley and the surrounding landscape. The site is also closely connected to local traditions and pilgrimages.
