Lekunberri

Lekunberri is the main town of the Larraun Valley and one of the most populated settlements in the area. Historically, it played a key role in the Plazaola railway line, whose station and route shaped the town’s connection with the valley and with Gipuzkoa. Today, the former railway has been converted into a greenway, with a major starting point or section in Lekunberri. The town concentrates services, commercial and industrial activity, and functions as a local hub for surrounding villages. Direct access routes lead from the municipality towards the Aralar mountain range and nearby natural areas.
