    Larraona

    Larraona is a village in the Améscoa Alta Valley, located at the foot of the Urbasa mountain range and close to the border with Álava. The village is organized around the Church of San Cristóbal, which stands on a slightly elevated position within the settlement. Many houses display heraldic shields on their façades, along with traditional elements such as the village fountain and washhouse. Paths from the village lead directly towards the sierra and its forested surroundings.
