AVRIGO PRESENTA S.L.

A production company founded by David Mendizábal and Bárbara Fernández, based in Navarre. AVRIGO is an independent audiovisual production company based in Navarre which has carved out a career characterised by building bridges between disciplines such as dance, personal accounts and film.

Since its earliest works, the production company has explored formats that engage with landscape, movement and memory. “Santa Bárbara” (2024), a short film that blends the language of dance with personal accounts to reflect on the devastating fires that ravaged Navarre in 2022, has been screened at contemporary arts venues such as Matadero Madrid as part of the FIVER festival.

The cinema premiere of “Santa Bárbara”, alongside director David Mendizábal’s short film “Tierra Húmeda”, at the Golem Yamaguchi cinemas in Pamplona. ‘Tierra Húmeda’ (2024), for its part, explores the intimate relationship with the Navarrese landscape and the memory of the lands we inhabit, portraying the bonds that people maintain with the land as an emotional legacy.

Adding to his filmography is the short film *Cruce de Caminos* (2026), starring Petra Martínez, which won Second Prize in the *Navarra Tierra de Cine* competition.

Their most recent production, *El Relevo* (2026), marks a new milestone in the production company’s history: this film has been selected to premiere in the official selection at the Málaga Film Festival.
