• SYNOPSIS The legendary Anastasini Circus pitched its big top on July 17, 1936, one day before the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, in the small town of Lodosa (Navarra). Acrobats, trapeze artists, clowns and a 12-year-old horsewoman filled the town with joy, music and fantasy. The next day, the circus was dismantled and half of the performers killed.
