• SYNOPSIS Encounters with Xabier is a journey through the life and work of Xabier Morrás, a painter with a "critical realist" style that tries to show the beauty that is on the margins of official beauty. Sixty years of creation from a critical and social point of view; years dedicated to show, reveal, remove and shake difficult realities, hard, full of pain, frustration and loneliness. He is one of the artists selected for the Basque Art exhibition of the Pamplona Meetings in 1972. We talked with him about his life, his work and what the Meetings meant for a generation of artists.
