• SYNOPSIS In a corner of the forest, a boy plays and learns to whistle among trees and parrots. He grows up. One day, he discovers fire and runs home to tell his mother. But when he sees how fragile she is, his excitement fades, as if the air no longer had any taste. Unbeknownst to him, illness looms over his home. His mother, her voice weak, takes him by the hand and, in front of the fire in the fireplace, tells him about a bush that burns without burning, that gives life instead of consuming it. The boy, his soul anguished, curls up in his bed, convinced that he must find it, that bush in the nearby forest. But while he dreams of growing up, the fire ravages everything around him.
