Señorio de Equisoain

The estate "Señorío de Equisoain" or "Palacio de Equisoain", as it appears in Google, is a building documented since the 14th century and recently restored. The restoration has been awarded by the Asociación Castillos de España and Príncipe de Viana. It is a two-storey house and tower of about 800m2 with a "U" plan with a courtyard/garden, highlighting an open room with a roof of centenary trusses of 120m2. and original gothic windows that have not been restored but have been left their original appearance. The property has 300 hectares of virgin forest of beech, oak, boxwood, holly and other native plants crossed by a stream that does not dry up in summer. This forest has access through a track that in winter has a difficult transit due to the mud. Also, access to the house is via a 2.5 km dirt road that allows the passage of trucks, although, upstairs in the house the parking space is relatively limited to about 20 cars or a few more if we add an upper road. This space would be reduced if it were necessary to park vans or trucks. This is perhaps the most critical aspect when organizing a production in this location, so it would be necessary to study well the needs and access of transport with the filming material. It is located 2.5 km from the village of Monreal where there is a rural tourism house Unzue with the possibility of accommodating 30 people, a 6-room hotel and a pilgrim's refuge since it is on the route of the Camino de Santiago. The town of Noain is 12 km away and already has a hotel infrastructure.
