Belascoáin Spa

Spa located in the town of Belascoáin, on the banks of the River Arga. It was founded in 1829, thanks to its beautiful surroundings and the properties of its waters. Over the years, a spa hotel with thirty rooms and all the necessary services for its operation was developed.

The spa enjoyed its heyday with visits from illustrious personalities; it was a meeting place for Navarrese society and neighbouring communities, and even had a daily bus service from the Navarrese capital. Its thermal activity ceased with the outbreak of the Civil War.

In 1980, the Pérez De Ciriza family acquired ownership of the spa and carried out the necessary renovations to restore the estate to its former splendour and beauty.
