Awarded Best European Animation Soundtrack (among other awards), Mikel Salas is a composer of music for film and audiovisual media with a unique voice within the national scene. His versatility and his commitment to finding a unique language for each project, as well as his extensive knowledge of both acoustic and electronic musical language, have led him to work with directors such as Paco Plaza, Benito Zambrano, Raúl de la Fuente, Félix Viscarret, Álvaro Fernández Armero, Manuela Burló Moreno and Alvaro Brechner, among others.
