Amaia Yoldi

I am a professional screenwriter living between Pamplona and Madrid.
I have studied film and series screenwriting at ECAM and EICTV as well as film directing in the workshops “Filmando en Navarra” with Isabel Coixet and Oliver Laxe.
I have been selected in the autumn 2022 edition of the Eureka Program (Series Mania Institute) for the development of an HBO max series with 12 other European screenwriters.
I have worked as a series development screenwriter in the production company Federation Enterteinment.

Own projects in development:
– feature film “Karesansui”, winner of the best pitch of PNR Zona Industria of the Madrid Film Festival 2023 and selected in CIMA Mentoring, MadridCreaLab, Bolivia Lab (Ibermedia), Residencia Iberoamericana de guion (Ibermedia).
– series “XYZ”, selected in VLC Pitch Forum 2021 (EDAV and SGAE foundation)
– series “Urrutia”, finalist in TORINO SERIES LAB 2023 and selected in Dama Ayuda Series, CIMA Impulsa, Coofilm, CDPAI (Ibermedia), Hemen Pitching Corner of SSIFF and Iberseries Platino Industria.

Filmography:
I have directed and written 5 short films. The last one, “Intercambio”, has received grants from the Communities of Madrid and Navarra, as well as a special mention from the jury in the short film project contest of Amnesty International – Abycine and the selection in Queercinelab. It is one of the 8 short films selected in the MADRID EN CORTO 2024 distribution catalog.
