Linda con el convento de Recoletas al que se une mediante un arco. Conforma un gran bloque cúbico de sillería de dos alturas más un ático. Articulado por ventanas rectas, a excepción de la puerta principal que consta de un arco de medio punto, sobre él, en la parte más alta del edificio, hay colocado un escudo que lleva las armas de los Mencos. El edificio tiene adosado en escuadra un torreón prismático de cantería, que aprovecha en su parte baja estructuras de un antiguo torreón medieval, posible resto de la antigua muralla de Tafalla. El cuerpo alto, concebido a modo de mirador, se articula por arcos de medio punto sobre pilares.
