Durante la residencia, los participantes asistirán a sesiones magistrales con reconocidos cineastas, participarán en talleres de desarrollo creativo y recibirán formación en habilidades del documentalista como la observación o la gestión de conflictos. A lo largo de la residencia, los participantes se introducirán en una dinámica de gamificación del mercado audiovisual, con representantes reales de plataformas, canales, productoras, distribuidoras, festivales y financiadores de cine documental. Doklab Navarra busca la relevancia y disrupción en la oferta de formación en cine documental. Directores de cine documental de relevancia internacional, como Alan Berliner, Victor Kossakovsky, Marisa Fernández Armenteros o Chico Pereira han confirmado ya su presencia en el programa de clases magistrales. Representantes de los principales canales y plataformas en España, además de varios financiadores internacionales participarán en la actividad de gamificación de mercado. Doklab Navarra es un programa de formación promovido por la productora Arena Comunicación con la colaboración de Intermon Oxfam, Golem y el Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de Navarra, Punto de Vista. Doklab Navarra cuenta con la financiación del Instituto de la Cinematografía y las Artes Audiovisuales de España (ICAA), financiado por la Unión Europea – NextGenerationEU.
