La restauración ha obtenido premio de la Asociación Castillos de España y Príncipe de Viana. Se trata de una casa de dos plantas y torre de unos 800m2 con planta de «U» con un patio/jardín, a destacar una sala diáfana con una techumbre de cerchas centenarias de 120m2. y ventanas goticas originales que no se han restaurado sino que se les ha dejado su aspecto original. La propiedad cuenta con un 300 hectáreas de bosque virgen de hayas, robles, boj, acebo y otras plantas autóctonas surcado por un arroyo que no se seca en verano. Este bosque tiene acceso a través de una pista que en invierno tiene un tránsito difícil debido al barro. Asimismo, el acceso a la casa se hace por un camino de tierra de 2,5Km que admite el paso de camiones, si bien, arriba en la casa el espacio para parking es relativamente limitado a unos 20 coches o algunos más si le añadimos un camino superior. Este espacio se vería reducido si hubiera que aparcar furgonetas o algún camión. Es quizá este el de acceso y parking, el aspecto más crítico a la hora de organizar una producción en esta localización, por lo que habría que estudiar bien las necesidades y el acceso del transporte con el material de rodaje. Se encuentra a 2,5Km del pueblo de Monreal donde hay un turismo rural casa Unzue con posibilidad de alojar a 30 personas, un Hotel de 6 habitaciones y algún refugio de peregrinos puesto que esta en la ruta del camino de Santiago. A 12 km se encuentra la ciudad de Noáin que ya cuenta con infraestructura hotelera.
