• SYNOPSIS The goddess of the sea, a black figure, half human, half mermaid, emerges from the waters. Her hypnotic, all-pervading voice announces the prophecy: ‘Human beings will become refugees due to the effects of climate change. Soon you will roam the world adrift like lost souls.’ A cyclone sweeps through Mozambique, one of the countries most affected by climate change. Then comes the great drought and our protagonists lose everything.
